Nargis Begum is an Indian lawyer and politician belonging to theAll India Trinamool Congress. He was the inaugural MLA ofMemari Assembly constituency in theWest Bengal Legislative Assembly.
Begum was born inc. 1965 to aBengali Muslim family inBardhaman district,West Bengal. She was educated at the Nischintapur High Madrasah.[1]
Begum contested in the2016 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election where she ran as anAll India Trinamool Congress candidate forMemari Assembly constituency, defeating Marxist politicianDebashis Ghosh.[2]
