Naomi Kritzer is an Americanspeculative fiction writer and blogger.[1][2] Her 2015 short story "Cat Pictures Please" was aLocus Award andHugo Award winner[3] and was nominated for aNebula Award. Her novelCatfishing on CatNet won the 2020Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book.

Biography

Kritzer has lived inLondon andNepal. She attended Wingra School (an independent school) inMadison, Wisconsin (1978 - 1986);Highgate Wood Secondary School inHaringey,England (1986 - 1987);Madison West High School (1987 - 1991); andCarleton College ofNorthfield, Minnesota (1991 - 1995).[4][5] As of 2020, she lives inSaint Paul, Minnesota, and blogs on local elections.[6]

Career

Since 1999 Kritzer has published a number of short stories and several novels, including two trilogies forBantam Books, and herSeastead series of short stories forThe Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction. Her 2015 short story "Cat Pictures Please" published inClarkesworld Magazine was a Locus Award and Hugo Award winner and was nominated for a Nebula Award.[7]
