Nancy Sorrell (born 13 July 1974) is an Englishmodel, actress andtelevision presenter fromChigwell.[1]

Early career

Sorrell who began her career as amodel,[2] has modelled forhigh street brands includingM&S,Next andAnn Summers and was the face ofPampers.[3]

Television career

Sorrell appeared as Greta in the movieLove Actually.[4] She appeared as a celebrity guest alongside her husband, comedianJim Moir (Vic Reeves) onLiving TV'sMost Haunted in 2003, investigating famousBelgrave Hall with the crew.[5] She was a contestant in the 2004 series ofI'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, and was later joined in the jungle by her husband. Sorrell was the first to be voted out of the jungle.[6] In June of that year, she performed live with rock guitaristJeff Beck at theRoyal Albert Hall, for a rendition of the song, "Cry Me a River". She also collaborated with Beck the previous year for his solo album,Jeff, providing vocals on several tracks.

She has also presentedTrust Me – I'm a Holiday Rep onChannel 5 withToby Anstis, has appeared on a special celebrity edition of Channel 4'sCome Dine with Me withCaprice,Nicky Clarke andJimmy Osmond and was a guest on the BBC'sHole in the Wall andCelebrityAntiques Road Trip with her husband.[7]

In 2023, Moir and Sorrell debuted theirSky Arts birdwatching showPainting Birds With Jim And Nancy Moir.[8][9]

Personal life

Sorrell marriedJim Moir (comedian Vic Reeves) in January 2003,[10] and the couple have twin girls, born in May 2006. She is also the stepmother to his two children from a previous marriage.[citation needed] As of 2007 the family live inCharing, nearAshford, Kent.[11]
