Namgyal Tsemo Monastery orNamgyal Tsemo Gompa is aBuddhist monastery inLeh city ofLeh district,Ladakh, northernIndia.[1] Founded by KingTashi Namgyal (1555-1575) of Ladakh, it has a three-story high gold statue ofMaitreya Buddha and ancient manuscripts and frescoes.[1] It is situated near theTsemo Castle.
