Constituency of the Old Parliament of Scotland in Highland, Scotland
Nairn was aburgh constituency that elected onecommissioner to theParliament of Scotland and to theConvention of Estates.
After theActs of Union 1707, Nairn,Forres,Fortrose andInverness formed theInvernessdistrict of burghs, returning one member between them to theHouse of Commons of Great Britain.
