Nadezhda Ilyina (Russian:Надежда Ильина, néeКолесникова,Kolesnikova; 24 January 1949 – 7 December 2013) was a Russian athlete who competed mainly in the400 metres.[1]
Ilyina trained atDynamo inMoscow. She competed for theSoviet Union in the1976 Summer Olympics held inMontreal,Canada in the 4 × 400 metres where she won thebronze medal with her teammatesInta Kļimoviča,Lyudmila Aksyonova andNatalya Sokolova. She was the mother of Russian tennis starNadia Petrova.
Ilyina died in a car accident in December 2013.[1]
