NGC 901 is anelliptical galaxy in theconstellation Aries. It is estimated to be 441 millionlight years from theMilky Way and has adiameter of approximately 50,000 ly. NGC 901 was discovered on September 5, 1864, byAlbert Marth.[3][4]
