NGC 830 is a barredlenticular galaxy in theconstellation Cetus. It is estimated to be about 170 millionlight-years from theMilky Way[3] and has a diameter of approximately 70,000 light years.[5][6][7] It was discovered byHeinrich Louis d'Arrest on 23 September 1865.[8]
