NGC 804 is alenticular galaxy located in theTriangulum constellation about 231 millionlight-years[3] from theMilky Way. It was discovered by the American astronomerLewis Swift in 1885. This galaxy was also observed by the FrenchastronomerGuillaume Bigourdan on December 24, 1897, and it has been added to theIndex Catalogue under the symbolIC 1773.[4][5][6]
