NGC 7735 is anelliptical galaxy in theconstellation ofPegasus. Its velocity with respect to thecosmic microwave background is 9249 ± 36 km/s, which corresponds to aHubble distance of 136.41 ± 9.57Mpc (~445 millionlight-years).[1] It was discovered by British astronomerJohn Herschel on 5 September 1828.[2]

Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 7735:SN 2024we (Type Ia, mag 17) was discovered byASAS-SN on 11 January 2024.[3]
