NGC 63 is a peculiarspiral galaxy in the constellationPisces. NGC 63 is itsNew General Catalogue designation. It has anapparent V-band magnitude of 12.70.[5]
The galaxy was discovered byHeinrich Louis d'Arrest on 27 August 1865.[6]
NGC 63 is part of thegroup of galaxies that bears its name. The NGC 63 group (also known asLGG 3) includes at least two other galaxies: UGC 156 and UGC 191.[7]
