NGC 555 is alenticular galaxy located around 479 millionlight-years away in theconstellation Cetus.[1] NGC 555 was discovered in 1886 by the AmericanastronomerFrank Muller.[2] NGC 555 is not known to have muchstar formation, and it is not known to have anactive galactic nucleus.[3][1]
