NGC 5384 is alenticular galaxy in theconstellationVirgo. It was discovered on May 8, 1864, by the astronomerAlbert Marth.[4] It is located about 250 million light-years (79.21 megaparsecs) away.[3]

NGC 5374 group

According to A. M. Garcia, NGC 5384 is a member of agroup of galaxies. The NGC 5374 group (also known asLGG 368) contains at least eight galaxies, includingNGC 5374,NGC 5382,NGC 5386,NGC 5417,NGC 5418,NGC 5434, andUGC 8906.[5]
