NGC 4907 is abarred spiral galaxy located about 270 millionlight-years away[2] in theconstellation ofComa Berenices.[3] It is also classified as aLINER galaxy.[2] NGC 4907 was discovered by astronomerHeinrich d'Arrest on May 5, 1864.[4] The galaxy is a member of theComa Cluster, located equidistant between NGC 4928 and NGC 4829.[5][6]
