NGC 4895 is alenticular galaxy located 330 millionlight-years away[3] in theconstellationComa Berenices.[4] The galaxy was discovered by astronomerHeinrich d'Arrest on May 5, 1864[4] and is a member of theComa Cluster.[5][6][7]

According to Harold Corwin, NGC 4895 is equal to NGC 4896. The NGC designation is usually given toCGCG 160-087[2] which is a member of theComa Cluster.[8]
