NGC 4860 is anelliptical galaxy in theconstellationComa Berenices. The galaxy was discovered on 21 April 1865 byHeinrich Louis d'Arrest.[2]

With its distance from Earth being approximately 110 millionparsecs, NGC 4860 belongs to theComa Cluster, which consists of over 1,000 identified galaxies.[3]
