NGC 410 is anelliptical galaxy located in the constellationPisces. It was discovered on September 12, 1784 byWilliam Herschel. It was described byDreyer as "pretty bright, pretty large, northeastern of 2.", the other beingNGC 407.[3]
Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 410: SN 1995Y (type I, mag. 18) was discovered byJean Mueller on 28 August 1995.[4][5]
