NGC 365 is abarred spiral galaxy in the constellationSculptor. It was discovered on November 25, 1834 byJohn Herschel. It was described byDreyer as "faint, small, round, gradually a little brighter middle."[2]

Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 365: SN 1970N (type unknown, mag. 18.8) was discovered by Steven Van Agt on 4 August 1970.[3][4]
