NGC 352 is abarred spiral galaxy in the constellationCetus. It was discovered on September 20, 1784 byWilliam Herschel. It was described as "pretty faint, small, irregularly extended" byJohn Louis Emil Dreyer, the compiler of theNew General Catalogue; he also noted an "8th magnitude star 97 seconds of time to east" relative to the galaxy.[4]

Supernova

Onesupernova has been observed in NGC 352: SN 2022jzx (Type II, mag. 16.888) was discovered byATLAS on 16 May 2022.[5]
