NGC 2144 is aspiral galaxy located in the constellationMensa[2] in thesouthern hemisphere. It was first discovered and observed byJohn Louis Emil Dreyer in 1888, during his efforts to update theNew General Catalogue. NGC 2144 is not aMessier Object and doesn't have aMessier Number. The galaxy has been heavily documented and observed by multiple people and other organizations using telescopes.[3]
