NGC 1955 (also known asESO 56-SC121) is anopen cluster associated with anemission nebula located in the Dorado constellation. This nebula is part of theH II region[5] which is part of theLarge Magellanic Cloud and was discovered byJames Dunlop on August 3, 1826.[3] Its apparent magnitude is 9.0, and its size is 1.8arc minutes.[1]
