NGC 1273 is alenticular galaxy[2] located about 245 millionlight-years away[3] in the constellationPerseus.[4] It was discovered by astronomerHeinrich d'Arrest on February 14, 1863[5] and is a member of thePerseus Cluster.[6][5]
