Family of viruses
Mymonaviridae is a family ofnegative-strand RNA viruses in the orderMononegavirales, which infectfungi.[1][2] Fungi serve as natural hosts. The name is aportmanteau ofAncient Greekmyco, which means fungus, andmononegavirales.[3] This family was established to accommodateSclerotinia sclerotiorum negative-stranded RNA virus 1 (SsNSRV-1) a novel virus discovered in a hypovirulent strain ofSclerotinia sclerotiorum.[4][5]
