Myerson's sign orglabellar tap sign is a clinicalphysical examination finding in which a patient is unable to resistblinking when tapped repetitively on theglabella, the area above the nose and between theeyebrows. It is often referred to as theglabellar reflex. It is often an early symptom ofParkinson's disease, but can also be seen in early dementia as well as other progressive neurologic illness.[1][2] It is named forAbraham Myerson, an American neurologist.[citation needed]
