TheMyanmar National Truth and Justice Party (MNTJP) is a political party inMyanmar. It is the political wing of theMyanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), an armed resistance group in theKokang region of Myanmar. The MNTJP cooperates politically and militarily with other members of theNorthern Alliance and theThree Brotherhood Alliance.[3] It is also a member of theFederal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (FPNCC), which is led by theUnited Wa State Army (UWSA).[4]
According to the Kokang Information Network (Chinese:果敢资讯网), a media outlet related to the MNDAA,[5] the MNTJP was founded on June 29, 2013.[6] On 5 January 2024, following thecapture of Laukkai by MNDAA forces duringOperation 1027, the MNTJP reestablished its own administration in the area.[7]
