My Generation: The Very Best of The Who is one ofThe Who's manygreatest hits collections, released byPolydor Records internationally andMCA Records in theUnited States in 1996.[4] Its release coincided with the release of the remastered original albums (omittingMy Generation for contractual reasons) and thus contained the newly remastered versions of the songs, and some alsoremixed.
