Mustapha @ Mohd Yunus bin Sakmud,[1] also known asMustapha Sakmud (born 9 July 1969), is aMalaysianpolitician andengineer who has served as theDeputy Minister of Higher Education in the Unity Government administration under Prime MinisterAnwar Ibrahim and MinisterZambry Abdul Kadir since December 2023 as well as theMember of Parliament (MP) forSepanggar since November 2022. He served as theDeputy Minister of Human Resources in the PH administration under Prime Minister Anwar and MinisterSivakumar Varatharaju from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a member and Branch Chief ofKota Belud of thePeople's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH coalition. He has also served as the State Chairman of PKR ofSabah since May 2024.[2][3]
