TheMuslim Saifi, or sometimes pronounced Barhai are a Muslim community, found inNorth India. They are also known as Saifi which denotes the Muslim sub-caste of blacksmiths and carpenters.[1] A small number are also found in theTerai region ofNepal.

They hold theOBC status in Haryana.[2]
