The active ingredient in psychedelic mushrooms ispsilocybin, while the active ingredients in medicinal mushrooms are thought to bebeta-glucans.[citation needed]
In Korea, mushroom teas known asbeoseot-cha (버섯차[pʌ.sʌt̚.tɕʰa]) are made from edible mushrooms such asblack hoof mushroom,lingzhi mushroom,oyster mushroom,scaly hedgehog, andshiitake mushroom.
