The Group has presence in several segments includingabrasives, auto components,bicycles,sugar, farm inputs,fertilisers,plantations,bioproducts andnutraceuticals. It owns brands like BSA, Hercules, Montra, Montra Electric, Mach City, Ballmaster, Ajax, Parry's, Chola, Gromor, Shanthi Gears and Paramfos. The Group has a workforce of over 60,000 employees.[7] The current executive chairman is MM Murugappan.[8]
