Amta Road (part ofState Highway 15) passes through the town. Besides Munsirhat-Udaynarayanpur Road and Munsirhat-Maju Road also start from here.
Munsirhat railway station is a station on theHowrah–Amta line[1] of theKolkata Suburban Railway system. BesidesMunsirhat railway station,Mahendralalnagar railway station, which is about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) away from the main town, between the villages of Dhasa and Ballavbati, also serves the locality. Munsirhat is 30 km fromHowrah Station.[2]
