Mount Taimu (Chinese:太姥山) is a mountain inNingde,Fujian,China. It is located 46km south of thecounty-level city ofFuding.
InChinese mythology, the mountain was considered a gathering point for deities from theEast China Sea.[1]
Since 2013, it has been classified as aAAAAA scenic area by theChina National Tourism Administration.[2] The mountain and its surroundings contain scenic waterfalls, caves, temples, and hills.[3]
