Mount Goryū (五竜岳,Goryū-dake) is a mountain in the Ushirotateyama Mountains in theHida Mountains. The mountain body straddlesKurobe, Toyama andŌmachi, Nagano, and the summit is mostly located on the Toyama side.[3] It is one of the100 Famous Japanese Mountains.[4] It is sometimes written asGoryū-dake (五龍岳) with only "dragon" in the old font.[2]
