Gora Dyultydag, or simplyDyultydag (Russian:Дюльтыдаг), is amountain located inDagestan,Russia. At 4,127 m (13,540 ft) elevation, it is the highest point of the Dyultydag range of theGreater Caucasus.[1][4]
Dyultydag refers to both amountain range[5] and its higher summit,Gora Dyultydag.[6]
Sometimes the Cyrillic nameДюльтыдаг istransliterated asDyul'tydag.[7]
The mountain belongs to theSamur basin. Its peak stands about 15 km (9 mi) north of the border withAzerbaijan. The closest village to Dyultydag isArchib inCharodinsky District. In 1961 its summit was reported as perennial snow-capped.[6] At anelevation of 4127 m Gora Dyultydag is Dagestan's fifth-highest mountain and the 45th-highest in Russia.[7]
