Mount Ayles is amountain located onEllesmere Island,Nunavut, Canada. It forms part of the border of theQuttinirpaaq National Park. Like the nearbyAyles Ice Shelf, the mountain was named by theGeological Survey of Canada in 1965 forAdam Ayles, apetty officer on-boardHMSAlert, who was serving in theBritish Arctic Expedition underGeorge Nares.[2]
