Monthuchon (French pronunciation:[mɔ̃tyʃɔ̃]) is acommune in theManchedepartment inNormandy in northwesternFrance, about 5 km north ofCoutances.
It is located on the main D971 road fromPériers to Coutances, at the south of the Cherbourg peninsular.
The parish church, dedicated to St Martin, dates back to the 16th century.[3]
Leon Legrand, the formerPrefect ofWallis and Futuna, was born in Monthuchon.[4]
