Montgomery Wilson Slatkin is anAmerican biologist , and professor atUniversity of California, Berkeley .[ 3] [ 4]
Slatkin received his undergraduate degree in mathematics fromMassachusetts Institute of Technology and his PhD fromHarvard University .
Slatkin is faculty of the Slatkin Research Group,[ 5] in the Center for Theoretical Evolutionary Genomics.[ 6]
Slatkin is the author of several books[ 7] [ 8] [ 9] [ 10] and scientific papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
In 2000, Slatkin won theSewall Wright Award and is on the Science Board of theSanta Fe Institute .[ 11]
