Canale Monterano is acomune (municipality), former bishopric and Latintitular see in theMetropolitan City of Rome, in the centralItalian region ofLazio (AncientLatium).

Canale Monterano, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest ofRome, borders the following municipalities :Blera,Manziana,Oriolo Romano,Tolfa andVejano.
