Monte Richards Ledbetter (born August 13, 1943) is an American former professionalfootballwide receiver who played three seasons in theAmerican Football League (AFL) with theHouston Oilers andBuffalo Bills. He was selected by the Oilers in the eleventh round of the1966 AFL draft. He was also selected by theCleveland Browns in the tenth round of the1966 NFL draft. Ledbetter playedcollege football atNorthwestern State University and attended Roanoke High School in Roanoke, Louisiana. He was also of theAtlanta Falcons of theNational Football League (NFL).[1]
