Montbazin (French pronunciation:[mɔ̃bazɛ̃];Occitan:Montbasin) is acommune in theHéraultdepartment in theOccitanieregion in southernFrance. It is part of the Agglomeration ofSete. In Roman times it was an important stopover on the road from Narbonne to Rome.
