Monosexual flag[1]

Monosexuality isromantic orsexual attraction to members of onesex orgender only.[2] A monosexual person may identify asheterosexual (straight) orhomosexual (gay/lesbian).[3][4] In discussions ofsexual orientation, the term is chiefly used in contrast toasexuality andplurisexuality (bisexuality orpansexuality).[5] It is sometimes considered derogatory or offensive by the people to whom it is applied, particularly gay men and lesbians.[3] Some have used the term "monosexual privilege", arguing thatbiphobia is different fromhomophobia.[6]
