Moncontour (French pronunciation:[mɔ̃kɔ̃tuʁ];Breton:Monkontour) is acommune in theCôtes-d'Armordepartment ofBrittany in northwesternFrance. The 18th-century French economistJoachim Faiguet de Villeneuve (1703–1781) was born in Moncontour. It is one ofLes Plus Beaux Villages de France.[3]
