Momoka Hanazono (花園桃花,Hanazono Momoka) (born November 17, 1999) is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler currently working as a freelancer and is best known for her time in the JapanesepromotionsOz Academy and Colega Pro Wrestling.[3]

Professional wrestling career

Independent circuit (2018-present)

As a freelancer, Hanazono is known for her tenures with various promotions from theJapanese independent scene. She made herprofessional wrestling debut at ahouse show promoted by Reina Pro Wrestling on November 19, 2018, where she teamed up withRisa Sera in a losing effort againstGiulia and Sae.[4] On one of the nights of the 2022 edition of theD-Oh Grand Prix from November 13, 2021, Hanazono teamed up withYuji Okabayashi andYusuke Okada in a losing effort againstThe 37Kamiina (Konosuke Takeshita,Shunma Katsumata) andSaki Akai as a result ofsix-person mixed tag team match.[5]

Oz Academy (2020-present)

Hanazono made her debut inOz Academy on December 30, 2020, atOZ Academy The End Of The Year where she teamed up with Ozaki-gun (Maya Yukihi andYumi Ohka) in a losing effort againstItsuki Aoki,Kaori Yoneyama andTsubasa Kuragaki.[6] She continued to make sporadic appearances and competing in the promotion's top events. At the promotion's25th Anniversary Year show from January 10, 2021, where she teamed up withAkino in a losing effort against Beast Friend (Aja Kong andHiroyo Matsumoto).[7] AtOZ Academy Battle Big Bonus In Okinawa, Hanazono won the first title of her career, the Oz Academy Pioneer title by defeating Kaori Yoneyama and Mask Do Hanahana in athree-way match.[8]

World Wonder Ring Stardom (2022-present)

Hanazono made her first appearance inWorld Wonder Ring Stardom atStardom New Blood 2 on May 13 where she teamed up withWaka Tsukiyama in a losing effort againstGod's Eye (Mirai andAmi Sourei).[9] AtStardom New Blood 4 on August 26, 2022, Hanazono teamed up with Tsukiyama again, this time falling short againstRam Kaicho andRina.[10] AtStardom Gold Rush on November 3, 2022, she unsuccessfully challengedAZM for theHigh Speed Championship.[11]

She is scheduled to team up with Momo Kohgo atNew Blood 7 on January 20, 2023 and compete againstGod's Eye (Ami Sourei andNanami) in the first rounds of theNew Blood Tag Team Championship inaugural tournament.[12] AtStardom Supreme Fight 2023 on February 4, she is scheduled to compete in aCall your shot match in which the winner gets to challenge for the title of their choice. She will compete againstMayu Iwatani,Momo Kohgo,Mina Shirakawa,Mariah May,Tam Nakano,Natsupoi,Waka Tsukiyama,Miyu Amasaki,Saki Kashima,Natsuko Tora,Thekla,Mai Sakurai and one more opponent to be announced.[13]

Hanazono is also involved with the Osaka joshi wrestling promotion,2point5 Joshi Pro Wrestling.[14]
