Anthony missed most of the 2021 season with a hamstring injury, but was a regular with the Hawkeyes in 2022, earningBig Ten Freshman of the Year honors.[2] He was once again productive in 2023, but his career was put in jeopardy when he was implicated in a gambling probe regarding student athletes at Iowa andIowa State University.
