Mohammadabad Rural District (Persian:دهستان محمدآباد)[3] is in theCentral District ofMarvdasht County,Fars province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village ofMohammadabad.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,758 in 2,150 households.[6] There were 8,663 inhabitants in 2,455 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,515 in 2,891 households. The most populous of its 68 villages wasRejaabad, with 1,526 people.[2]
