Mohamed Haddouche is an Algerianchessgrandmaster.[1]

Chess career

Haddouche is an eight-time winner of theAlgerian Chess Championship, most recently in 2017.[2]

He has represented his country in fiveChess Olympiads:2006,2008,2010,2012 and2014.[3] He has won three medals inchess events at theAfrican Games: gold and silver in2003,[4][5] and a second gold in2007.[6] He has also won three medals in chess events at thePan Arab Games: silver and bronze in2007,[7][8] and gold in2011.[9]

He played in theChess World Cup 2017, being defeated byDing Liren in the first round.

He took second place at the 2018 Ivory Coast Rapid and Blitz Invitational.[10]

He won theArab Individual Chess Championship in Sharjah, UAE in 2018.[11]
