Mizyeneh orMazyanah (Arabic:المزينة) is a smallGreek OrthodoxChristian village located in WesternSyria close to theLebanese borders and administratively belonging to theHoms Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Mizyeneh had a population of 2,769 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyChristians. The village has twoGreek Orthodox Churches.[2]
