Minoru Kizawa (鬼沢 稔,Kizawa Minoru, born 1947) is a Japaneseastronomer and discoverer ofminor planets.
Between 1986 and 1991, he has discovered or co-discovered 16 ofasteroids at theNihondaira Observatory inShimizu, Japan.[1] He is credited as sole discoverer of(6178) 1986 DA, a 3-kilometernear-Earth object belonging to the group ofAmor asteroids.[2] His co-discoverers were the Japanese astronomersTakeshi Urata,Watari Kakei andHitoshi Shiozawa(see adjunct table).
