TheMinistry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing[2] (Sinhala:නාගරික සංවර්ධන හා නිවාස අමාත්‍යාංශය;Tamil:நகர அபிவிருத்தி மற்றும் வீடமைப்பு அமைச்சு) is acabinetministry of theGovernment of Sri Lanka responsible forhousing andconstruction. The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on housing and construction and other subjects which come under its purview.[3] The current Minister of Urban Development and Housing is Mr. Ranjith Ariyarathne[1] The ministry'ssecretary is Mr. Ranjith Ariyaratne.[4]
