TheMinistry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying is a ministry of theGovernment of India responsible for the administration of matters related tofisheries,animal husbandry anddairying. The ministry came into existence on 31 May 2019 after the formation of theSecond Modi ministry. Prior to becoming an independent ministry, the ministry was a department under theMinistry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying was named as theMinistry of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairying at the time of its formation in 2019, but was later renamed to its present name in 2021. The ministry is headed by the Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, who is usually a cabinet minister in the union cabinet and is assisted by a minister of state.

The first minister wasGiriraj Singh who served from 2019 until 2021. The current minister isLalan Singh, who has been in office since June 2024. The current ministers of state areS. P. Singh Baghel andGeorge Kurian.
